스워빈스키 국립공원

[아츠앤컬쳐] 스워빈스키 국립공원은 폴란드에 있는 23개의 국립공원 중 하나로 해안 공원이다. 이 공원의 설립 목적은 해변 호수, 늪, 이탄습지, 목초지 그리고 해변의 숲 등의 시스템을 보존하기 위해서였다. 하지만 무엇보다도 움직이는 모래언덕(이동사구) 지대를 유지하고자 함이 가장 큰 목적이었다. 이는 유럽에서도 굉장히 특이한 현상이기 때문이다.

스워빈스키 국립공원은 세계적인 네트워크인 발트해 해양 환경 보호 협의회(HELCOM)와 세계자연보호구역, 람사르 습지 협약 등에 보호 구역으로 설정되어 있으며 이를 통해 그 자연적 가치를 알 수 있다.

이 공원의 자연환경은 독특한 가치를 지니고 있으며 동시에 발트해 중부 해안 중에서도 특징적이다. 이 사실은 폴란드뿐만 아니라 다른 여러 국가에서도 인정받고 있다. 웹스카 곶과 해변 호수에서는 가장 화려한 자연물이나 현상 또는 자연의 과정을 만날 수 있다.

서로 다른 생태계의 풍요로움과 자연환경의 독특하고 역동적인 관계들은 공원을 더 가치 있게 한다. 예를 들어, 발트해 해안선의 침식과 퇴적은 수천 년 동안 계속되어 왔지만 거의 매일 해변에서 이 과정을 조금이나마 관찰할 수 있는데 석호가 형성되고, 다시 모래가 바닷물에 의해 해안으로 밀려와 석호를 메우는 것을 볼 수 있다.

자연 풍경의 아름다움과 다양성을 좋아하는 수천 명의 관광객들이 스워빈스키 국립공원을 방문하고 있다. 의심의 여지 없이 물, 바람 그리고 모래의 땅인 이곳을 구성하는 토착 자연의 가장 중요한 연결고리를 유지하기 위해 대표적인 관광 가능 지역이 지정되어있다.

현재 관광 코스의 총길이는 170km가 넘는다. 수많은 전망대 탑과 보행자 전용 다리에서는 공원의 생태계와 풍경의 풍부함, 다양성, 촘촘히 짜여진 구성을 볼 수 있다. 박물관에서는 한 해 동안 공원에서 관찰되는 과정과 현상 등을 보여주는 전시회를 감상할 수 있다. 스모우지노, 로비, 클루키, 롱프카 등의 박물관을 방문하면 짧은 기간의 휴가를 더 풍성히 채울 수 있을 것이다.

The Slovinski National Park (SNP)

The Slovinski National Park (SNP) is one of 23 national parks and one of 2 sea-side parks in Poland. It was founded to preserve in the unchangeable beauty, the system of seaside lakes, bogs, peat bogs, meadows, seaside woods and forests, but first of all, to maintain a dune belt of spits with moving dunes, unique in Europe. The dignity and the natural value of the SNP are testified by the fact of its placement in an international network of protected areas, such as: HELCOMBSPA, World Nature Sanctuary or Ramsar wet-land area.

The nature of the SNP characterizes with unique values and is concurrently characteristic for the Baltic mid-coast. These peculiar features of the Park nature are appreciated not only in Poland but also abroad. The largest opulence of objects, phenomena and natural processes may be found at the Łebska Spit and seaside lakes. The opulence of different ecosystems and their unusually dynamic spatial relations need to be classified as the most unique value of the Park environment.

For example, the alterations of positioning the Baltic Sea coast line in the macro-scale have been occurring throughout many thousands years, but almost every day on the beach, one can follow this process in the micro-scale, observing lagoons formation and filling them up with the sand being thrown to the shore by the sea waves.

The Slovinski National Park is visited by thousands of tourists, fond of the beauty and variability of its landscape. In order to maintain one of the most precious tie of indigenous nature, which undoubtedly is the Land of Water, Wind and Sand, there have been appointed only representative, selected areas of the Park for tourism practicing.

At present there are over 170 kilometers of routes. Out from numerous towers and view footbridges, one can admire the opulence, diversity and mosaic arrangement of ecosystems and landscapes of the SNP. In the museum premises, you can find the exhibitions, which reflect the dynamics of the processes and phenomena observed in the Park at the scope of the whole year. A visit in a museum of Smołdzino, Rowy, Kluki or Rąbka will be the supplement for performed observations while usually too short holiday period.
