코주프카의 자모이스키 박물관

[아츠앤컬쳐] 폴란드 동부의 코주프카 지역은 자모이스키 박물관이 위치해 있으며 옛 주거지의 형태가 잘 보존된 곳이다. 이곳에서는 궁전, 베르사유 궁전 모양을 본뜬 예배당, 마차 보관소뿐만 아니라 아름다운 공원과 정원으로 둘러싸인 독특한 사회주의적 사실주의 미술관을 볼 수 있다.

코주프카의 궁전과 공원 단지의 주인은 유명한 폴란드 두 귀족 가문인 비엘린스키와 자모이스키 가문이었다. 18세기 중반에 비엘린스키 가문이 후기 바로크 양식으로 건축하였으며, 1799년부터 1944년까지 자모이스키 가문이 소유했다.

궁전의 인테리어는 유럽 문화의 전통과 폴란드의 전통이 잘 결합된 특징을 보인다. 콘스탄티 자모이스키 수장이 19세기와 20세기에 걸쳐 수집한 가구들로 채워져 있으며 방 내부는 프랑스 제2제정 시대 당시의 스타일로 디자인되었다. 이외에도 곳곳에 화려한 벽난로, 고급 가구 및 악기, 조각상, 시계, 그리고 아름다운 도자기와 은제품 컬렉션 등으로 장식되어 있다. 벽면은 조각된 금도금 프레임에 큰 그림과 거울로 가득하다.

궁전과 공원 단지에는 총 15개의 건물이 있다. 이 건물들은 프랑스식 정원과 장미 정원, 분수, 놀이터, 그리고 피크닉 공간을 갖춘 조경 공원으로 둘러싸여 있다. 단지 안에서는 베르사유의 왕실 예배당을 모델로 한 궁전 예배당과 19세기 마차, 승마 및 여행용 액세서리를 전시 중인 마차 보관소를 볼 수 있다. 두 곳의 미술관에서는 사회주의 사실주의를 대표하는 폴란드 예술가들의 작품과 폴란드가 공산국가였던 당시의 예술 작품들을 감상할 수 있다. 이와 관련하여 야외 전시 중인 건축물들도 있다.

박물관의 또 다른 건물에서는 가족 계보로 볼 수 있는 콘스탄티 자모이스키 가문의 오래된 ‘가족 앨범’ 전시회가 진행된다. 현재 박물관에서 보관 중인 사진들은 3D 극장, 음성인식 기능이 탑재된 스크린 등의 방식을 통해 만날 수 있다. 디스플레이 보드에서는 시각적인 가지 형태로 가계도를 그려 보여주기도 한다. 내부 스튜디오에는 골동품 사진 장비와 기타 액세서리들도 함께 전시 중이다. ‘라피다리움’은 옛 장식품, 오래된 주방과 식료품 저장고, 궁전 수리 중 발견된 상하수도와 난방 시스템 등의 유물을 통해 옛 귀족 거주지의 각 기능들에 대하여 알아볼 수 있다.

The Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka

The Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka is one of the best-preserved residences in Poland, located in the eastern part of the country, half an hour away from the city of Lublin. You can find there the Palace, the Coach-house and the Chapel modelled on the royal chapel in Versailles and the unique Socialist Realism Art Gallery, surrounded by a beautiful park and a garden.

The palace and the park complex in Kozłówka was owned by two distinguished Polish aristocratic houses – the Bieliński and Zamoyski families. The complex was built in the mid-18th century in the late Baroque style for the Bieliński family. From 1799 to 1944, the property belonged to the Zamoyski family.

The interior design of the residence combines European cultural traditions with Polish national traditions, intertwining the history of the Zamoyski family. The palace interiors largely retain their original furnishing from the 19th and 20th centuries, collected by the first entailer, Konstanty Zamoyski. The chambers are designed in the style of the Second Empire and decorated with gorgeous stoves and fireplaces, high-class furniture and musical instruments, sculptures, clocks, beautiful china and silverware collections. Walls are full of paintings and big mirrors in carved, gold-plated frames.

The palace and park complex consists of fifteen buildings. Also there are surrounded by a historic landscape park with a French garden, rose gardens, a fountain, as well as a playground, and a picnic area. In the complex you can also see the Palace Chapel, modelled on the royal chapel in Versailles and the Coach-house – an exhibition of 19th-century carriages, riding and travelling accessories. Two art galleries display works by Polish artists representing socialist realism and the official art of the People's Republic of Poland. These collections are complemented by an open-air exhibition of monuments.

In the other buildings of the museum, you can see the exhibition ‘Family album’ presenting antique photographs from Konstanty Zamoyski’s collection, connected with the genealogy of the family. Archival photos can be viewed in a stereoscopic theatre, on an interactive screen and on display boards featuring particular branches of the family tree. The arranged studio also exhibits antique photographic equipment and accessories. The ‘Lapidarium’ provides insight into the functioning of the former aristocratic residence through display boards and artefacts related to topics such as the former architectural decor, the equipment of the old kitchen and pantry, water and sewage installations and heating systems, including the boiler, which was discovered during the renovation.
