Milano
Milan(Milano) is undoubtedly known as one of the global capitals of business as well architecture, design, and fashion. Its cosmopolitan atmosphere, its creativity and its innovative spirit have elevated it to the status of the most dynamic city in Europe, constantly evolving towards a very fascinating future.
One of the symbolic places in Milan of the transformations that the city is experiencing is the Isola district, located just outside the city center. It is a neighborhood that was originally a popular and working-class neighborhood, it has recently undergone a progressive revaluation. In fact, here are the two famous towers of the Vertical Forest, the work of Stefano Boeri Studio, characterized by buildings covered with more than two thousand species of plants.
They are part of the larger Porta Nuova Project, a vast urban and architectural regeneration intervention that features new skyscrapers(such as the Unicredit Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Italy), squares(such as the Piazza Gae Aulenti) and elegant recoveries of pre-existing streets(such as Corso Como, the famous shopping street).
In addition to architecture, Milan is the undisputed queen of design. In fact, the Design Week is held every year in Milan, a week of events aimed at celebrating the artistic trends of the moment. Among these, a special mention must be made of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the world's most important fair in the field of home and furniture, and the Fuori Salone, a set of highly creative installations distributed throughout the city. In these days Milan is filled with creativity, dynamism, culture, a true temple of art that can only leave you inspired.
Finally, it is impossible not to recognize in Milan as the symbol of Made in Italy fashion in the world.
