[아츠앤컬쳐] 어린이의 예술은 독특한 힘을 가졌다. 원초적이며 순수한 눈으로 표현된 어린이의 예술은 현상을 직관적으로 바라보고 가감없이 표현한다. 이러한 이유로 피카소, 클리, 칸딘스키, 모델리아니 등의 화가들이 어린이 예술 작품의 컬렉터였으며, 거기에서 영감을 받아 걸작을 만들어 내었다.

미하일류크 올가 미트리브나는 이러한 어린이 예술의 중요성을 알리기 위해 2023년 리비우어린이갤러리를 개장하였다. 리비우어린이갤러리재단은 다양한 국가, 지역 및 지역 문화 프로그램을 관리하는 독특한 자선단체로서, 재능 있는 어린이 및 청소년 예술단체의 창의적 발전에 기여하며 어린이들의 능력을 발전과 사회 환경 적응을 돕기 위하여 설립되었으며 현재 주와 기관, 박물관 갤러리, 교육기관 및 예술기관과 2006년부터 협력관계에 있다. 이 재단은 국제어린이예술포럼과 ‘Golden Easel’ 대회를 설립하였는데 매년 수천 명의 우크라이나 어린이들이 창의적으로 세계와 소통한다. 이 대회는 수상자들에게 황금 이젤과 금, 다이아몬드로 장식된 큰 상을 수여하며, 어린이들의 ‘오스카’라고 불린다

러시아와의 전쟁이 발생하고, 첫날부터 ‘Golden Easel’의 우크라이나 어린이 참가자들은 웹의 Zoom 플랫폼을 통해 웨비나에서 만나 집 혹은 피신처 등 그림을 그릴 수 있는 곳이면 어디든 그림을 그리며 러시아와의 전쟁의 참상에 대한 정보를 서로 나누었다. 이는 모바일 전시회 ‘평화 릴레이’ 국제 마라톤으로 이어졌고, 참가자들은 전 세계에 평화의 대사가 되어 우크라이나의 자유 투쟁을 지원하는 많은 사람들을 응원하고 있다

모바일 전시회 외에 ‘평화 릴레이’ 전시회가 2022년 봄에 리비우 지역의 ‘On the Hills’ 공원과 리비우의 안드레이 셉티츠키 국립박물관에서 시작되어 2022년부터 현재까지 우크라이나의 전쟁에 관한 아이들의 미술 작품이 체코 공화국, 노르웨이, 불가리아, 슬로바키아, 터키, 갈린데즈섬, 대만, 일본, 이스라엘, 미국, 그리스 등의 세계 갤러리와 박물관에서 전시되었다.

프랑크푸르트의 우크라이나 자산센터 지원으로, 2023년 8월 26일에는 우크라이나와 독일의 어린이들이 ‘평화의 공식’이라는 새로운 작품을 그렸으며, 9월 20일부터 리비우어린이갤러리의 아트레지던스에서 ‘어린이 예술의 평화 공식’ 대회가 시작되어 이 주제에 관한 단체 작품이 진행되었다. 또한, 9월 16일부터는 주우크라이나 대한민국대사관이 참여하여 평택에서 우크라이나문화주간의 일환으로 ‘우크라이나 어린이 예술의 평화 공식’전을 개최하고 있다.

현재 리비우어린이갤러리는 갤러리와 박물관에서의 모바일 전시물과 가상 공간에서 어린이의 천재성이 가득한 작품을 전 세계에 적극적으로 알리고 있다. 우크라이나의 어린이들이 직접 보고, 느끼는 것을 그림으로 표현하며 현재 그들의 이야기들을 들어주기 바라고 있다. 우크라이나 어린이의 예술을 통하여 더 많은 국가들이 우크라이나뿐만 아니라 전 세계의 미래와 평화를 지원하는 데 동참하고 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

The Power of Children’s art : “PEACE RELAY”

Children's art possesses a unique power. Art created by children, with its primal and pure perspective, intuitively observes and expresses phenomena without reservation. For this reason, outstanding painters such as Picasso, Klee, Kandinsky, Modigliani, and others were collectors of children's art and drew inspiration from it to create masterpieces.

In order to promote the importance of children's art, Mykhailiuk Olga Dmytrivna established the Lviv Children's Gallery in 2023. The foundation is a unique charitable organization that manages various international, national, regional and local cultural programs that contribute to the creative development of gifted children, children's and youth art groups and established to help kids with special needs in the development of abilities and their adaptation to the social and cultural environment and now it is Lviv Municipal Children’s Gallery in partnership with state and private institutions, museums, art galleries, cultural and educational and art academies, schools, lyceums, educational and aesthetic complexes from 2006. The foundation established the International Children's Art Forum and the "Golden Easel" competition, an international event where thousands of Ukrainian children communicate with the world through creative means. Winners of this competition received the grand prix-golden easel with gold and diamond, and it is often referred to as the "Oscars" for children.

With the outbreak of the war with Russia, from the very first day, the Ukrainian children participating in "Golden Easel" met through webinars using platforms like Zoom. They drew pictures from wherever they could, be it at home or in shelters, to share the realities of the war with each other. This led to the continuation of the international marathon "Peace Relay," where participants from around the world became ambassadors of peace supporting Ukraine's struggle for freedom. In addition to the mobile exhibition of "Peace Relay," the exhibition started in the spring of 2022 at "On the Hills" Park in the Lviv region and the Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv. Children's artwork about Ukraine's war has been displayed in galleries and museums worldwide, including the Czech Republic, Norway, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Turkey, on the island of Galindse, Taiwan, Japan, Israel, the USA, Greece.

With the support of the Ukrainian Coordination Center on property in Frankfurt, on August 26, 2023, Ukrainian and German children created a new composition called " Formulas of Peace." Furthermore, starting on September 20, 2023, the Lviv Children's Gallery's Art Residency will host a collective artwork competition related to this theme. On September 16, 2023, the Embassy of Ukraine in South Korea participated in this marathon by hosting the "Official Peace of Ukrainian Children's Art" exhibition in Pyeongtaek as part of Ukrainian Culture Week, showcasing the art of Ukrainian children.

Currently, the Lviv Children's Gallery actively promotes children's artistic genius through mobile exhibitions, virtual spaces, and strives to be heard and convey their stories. And wish that more countries join and contribute to supporting Ukraine and global peace through the art of Ukrainian children.
