[아츠앤컬쳐] Ryntovt Design은 유명한 우크라이나 디자이너이자 건축가인 Yuriy Ryntovt가 설립한 디자인 스튜디오, 실험적 작업실 및 건축 사무소이다. 25년 이상 동안 Ryntovt는 그의 에코 디자인과 에코 사고의 비전을 구현하며 현대적 디자인의 공유 및 사유 공간 과 디자인 제품을 창조해 왔다. 자연에 바탕을 둔 에코 철학을 대변하는 작업은 그의 삶의 일부이자 자연과 삶에 대한 존경과 사랑을 반영하는 그만의 라이프스타일이다.

Ryntovt의 디자인 프로젝트는 사무실, 클리닉, 카페, 레스토랑, 호텔, 리조트, 주택, 아파트 등 다양한 공공 및 사적 공간을 대상으로 한다. 그는 또한 그의 건축 및 인테리어 디자인 창조물에 맞는 맞춤형 디자이너 가구와 오브제를 제작하기도 한다.

그의 대표적인 프로젝트 중 Friend House는 에코 호텔로서 건축, 생태, 예술이 결합된 독특한 프로젝트이다. 우크라이나의 Orel강 근처의 자연 보호구역에 위치한 이 호텔은 주변 경관과 조화를 이루는 여섯 개의 나무 모듈로 구성되어 있습니다. 이 호텔은 환경 영향과 에너지 소비를 최소화하면서 편안하고 휴식하기 좋은 숙박을 제공하도록 설계되었다. 태양열 패널, 자연 환기 및 유기적 재료가 사용되어 자연에 기반을 둔 에코 시스템을 구축하였다.

아파트 퍼즐 90은 우크라이나 카르키우 도시의 작은 주거 공간에 대한 창의적인 해결책으로 구현되었다. 이 아파트는 단 90㎡이지만 4개의 침실, 2개의 욕실, 주방, 거실 및 발코니를 수용할 수 있으며, 슬라이딩 파티션, 숨겨진 수납 공간 및 다기능 가구로 유연하고 적응 가능하게 설계되었다. 또한 이 아파트는 Ryntovt의 자연적인 나무, 미니멀리즘 및 자연의 선에 기반을 둔 간결한 스타일을 자랑한다.

워터라인 하우스는 Ryntovt의 종합적인 디자인 접근 방식을 빛내주는 대표적인 사례로 꼽힌다. 이는 키예프에 위치한 일반 주택으로 디니에프강을 내려다보고 있다. 이 집은 유기적인 형태, 자연 소재 및 조명을 활용하여 자연 환경과 인간 본성과 조화를 이루도록 설계되었다. 집은 파도를 닮은 곡선 형태의 지붕, 실내와 실외를 연결하는 넓은 테라스, 아늑한 분위기를 조성하는 벽난로를 특징으로 하며 집은 Ryntovt의 맞춤형 가구가 완벽하게 조화를 이루고 있다.

Ryntovt의 디자인 프로젝트는 디자인 선 뿐만 아니라 소재에 있어서도 나무, 점토, 갈대, 돌, 금속 및 유리와 같은 자연 친화적인 재료를 사용한다. 다만 원료에서 끝나는 것이 아니라 공정 및 마감 관리까지 친환경을 표현할 필요한 인증서와 품질 기준을 충족시키는 것을 중요하게 다루고 있다. 목재에 있어서도 주로 호두, 잣나무, 아카시아, 너도밤나무, 참나무, 단풍나무와 같은 단단한 목재 종을 사용하지만 체리, 소나무, 과일 및 이국적인 나무도 사용함으로써 디자인의 기하학 형태 속에 둘러싸인 자연 나무 질감의 아름다움과 다양성을 드러낸다. 이러한 친환경 적인 디자인은 간결한 선과 미학적인 부분 뿐만 아니라 클레이, 갈대 및 벼 등을 사용하여 친환경적인 단열을 만들기도 한다.

Ryntovt의 디자인 세계는 목재와 금속과 같은 다양한 재료가 하나의 조각에 결합하여 자연에서 온 유기적인 것과 인간이 창조한 인공적인 것 사이의 대조와 균형을 창출함으로써 완벽한 조화와 존중을 보여주는 것이다

Ryntovt Design is a design studio, experimental workshop, and architectural office founded by the renowned Ukrainian designer and architect, Yuriy Ryntovt. For over 25 years, Ryntovt has been realizing his vision of eco-design and eco-thinking, creating contemporary design spaces and products. His work, which embodies an eco-philosophy rooted in nature, reflects his respect and love for both nature and life.

Ryntovt’s design philosophy is based on the realization that we are all interconnected as part of a single organism. He believes that we must respect and love one another. According to him, our minds and material existence are intertwined, and our specific parts reflect the whole. His artistic approach involves a dialogue with the world and nature. His creative endeavors aim to produce naturally inspired and elegantly simple designs infused with intellect and emotion. The essence of his design philosophy lies in achieving harmony between organic and artificial elements, integrating the principles of nature with the conflicts inherent in human nature.

Ryntovt’s design projects span various public and private spaces, including offices, clinics, cafes, restaurants, hotels, resorts, houses, and apartments. He also crafts custom designer furniture and objects that complement his architectural and interior design creations.

One of his notable projects, Friend House, is an eco-hotel that combines architecture, ecology, and art. Located near the Orel River in Ukraine’s nature reserve, this hotel consists of six tree modules that harmonize with the surrounding landscape. Designed to minimize environmental impact and energy consumption, the hotel offers comfortable and restful accommodations. Apartment Puzzle 90 is a creative solution for small residential spaces in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. Despite its modest 90 square meters, this apartment accommodates four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a balcony. It has been cleverly designed with sliding partitions, hidden storage spaces, and multifunctional furniture, allowing for flexibility and adaptability. Additionally, the apartment boasts a minimalistic style rooted in natural wood and the simplicity of nature, reflecting Ryntovt’s design philosophy.

Waterline House stands out as a prime example of Ryntovt’s holistic design approach. Located in Kyiv, this ordinary house overlooks the Dnieper River. The design prioritizes harmony between the natural environment and human nature, achieved through organic forms, natural materials, and thoughtful lighting. Notable features include a wave-like curved roof, a spacious terrace connecting indoor and outdoor spaces, and a cozy fireplace. The house seamlessly integrates Ryntovt’s custom-designed furniture.

In his design projects, Ryntovt not only focuses on aesthetic lines but also emphasizes the use of eco-friendly materials such as wood, clay, reed, stone, metal, and glass. Beyond raw materials, he considers environmental sustainability throughout the entire process, ensuring compliance with necessary certifications and quality standards. While hardwoods like walnut, oak, acacia, hornbeam, and maple are commonly used, Ryntovt also incorporates cherry, pine, fruit, and exotic woods, revealing the beauty and diversity of natural textures within geometric design forms. His eco-conscious designs extend beyond aesthetics, incorporating environmentally friendly insulation using materials like clay, reed, and straw.

Ryntovt’s design world harmoniously juxtaposes organic elements from nature with human-made artificial elements, showcasing perfect harmony and respect between the nature and human-made.
