“성인 예술가의 창의성과 젊은이의 재능의 창의성 사이에는 차이가 있을까요? 아마도 그럴 것입니다! 젊은 예술가들은 자신의 생각, 감정, 경험을 표현하기 위해 타고난 창의성에 의지합니다. 어린이의 작품은 감동을 가져다주는 매력과 섬세함 그리고 두근거리는 천연스러움이 있습니다. 성인 예술가들이 이러한 어린이와 같은 천연스러움, 생생한 감정, 민감함, 부드러움을 잃지 않는다면 얼마나 좋을까요. 몇몇 위대한 예술가들은 이러한 특성을 유지하고 있습니다. 그래서 젊은 예술가의 재능에서 비롯된 창의성이 성인들에게 큰 감탄을 불러일으킵니다. 우리 모두는 어린 시절을 거쳐왔고, 모든 성인은 그 무한하게 꿈꾸던 밝고 어린 시절의 세계로 돌아가고 싶어 하기 때문입니다. 이것이 바로 인간의 본성입니다. 이러한 이유로 젊은 예술가 마리아 시소바와 소피아 빌라의 창의성이 우리에게 더욱 흥미롭게 다가옵니다.

처음 보기에는 마리아와 소피아가 하르키우 지역 남서부의 작은 우크라이나 마을 로조바에 사는 평범한 십대들처럼 보일 수 있습니다. 그들은 전쟁 중인 나라의 어려운 운명을 함께 공유하며 수천 명의 또래들과 같은 삶을 살고 있습니다.

젊음은 멋지게도 삶의 모든 측면에서 갈구함을 촉진시킵니다. 젊은 아티스트들은 다른 십대들처럼 일반 학교에 다니며, 성인이 되어 전문 예술가가 되기를 꿈꾸며 준비하고 있습니다. 그래서 그들은 로조바 예술학교에서 기본이 되는 미술 교육을 받는 데 많은 시간을 할애합니다. 미래의 전문 예술가로서 필요한 기술과 능력을 개발하기 위한 학교 커리큘럼 외에도, 이들은 국제 대회 및 국가, 지역의 다양한 대회에 참가했습니다. 그들에게 이것은 자신을 알리고 작품을 통해 내면세계를 표현할 수 있는 훌륭한 기회인 것입니다. 이들의 작품은 항상 예상을 벗어나고, 밝고 독특하며, 다양한 컨텐츠로 깊은 서정성을 보여줍니다.

The Force Leading the Future of Ukrainian Art

In my childhood, I seemed to sit still, but I was obsessed with doodling. I remember scribbling on every piece of paper in sight, and when there was no blank paper left, I would fill the covers with my doodles. Those were the days when I had no concrete goals, and no clear plans. I simply focused on what I wanted to do. In those moments, I would take out the clouds of thoughts from my mind and draw them freely with my hands. Those memories and feelings have been buried to be disappeared under countless plans and competitions.

I want to introduce a heartfelt piece about young artists from Ukraine. This piece celebrates and supports the creativity and passion of young artists without any preconceived notions about their careers or backgrounds. Through this writing, we can feel the source of the strength that drives the greatness of Ukrainian art.

‘Is there a significant difference between the creativity of adult artists and young talents? Probably, yes! Young artists, if they are inherently creatively gifted, turn to creativity as a means of expressing their own thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Children's impressions often differ significantly from those of adults—they are less rational and more emotional. In adolescence, creativity becomes even more sensual and thus more penetrating. This gives children's works a touching attractiveness, a delicate, trembling spontaneity. It would be wonderful if adult artists did not lose their childlike spontaneity, vivid emotionality, sensitivity, and tenderness. Some great artists have managed to retain these qualities. That is why the creativity of young talents evokes such admiration in adults, as we all come from childhood and every adult longs to return to that infinitely dreamy, bright, childlike world—such is our human nature. This makes the creativity of young artists Maria Sysova and Sofia Bila even more interesting to us.

At first glance, Maria and Sofia are ordinary teenagers living in the small Ukrainian town of Lozova in the southwest of the Kharkiv region. They live like thousands of their peers, sharing the difficult fate of their country, which is at war. Clearly, war is not the best environment for the formation of a creative personality, but Russian aggression has left them no choice.

It is wonderful that youth stimulates a thirst for life in all its manifestations. The girls, like ordinary teenagers, attend general education school, preparing for adult life in which they aspire to become professional artists. Therefore, they devote a significant part of their time to studying at the Lozova Art School, acquiring a foundation in basic art education. It is understood that professional art education takes a lot of time. However, Maria has already completed a seven-year course in basic art education with excellent results. Sofia has studied at the Lozova Art School for only three years, but her academic achievements are also impressive. In addition to studying the school curriculum aimed at developing the skills and abilities of future professional artists necessary for further education in higher educational institutions, the girls enjoy participating in various competitions and festivals: international, national, and regional. For them, this is a great opportunity to both make a name for themselves and express their inner world through images in their creative works. The girls' works are always unexpected, bright, and unique, different in content yet emotionally penetrating.

The girls themselves are also different. Maria is more serious, reserved, and thoughtful in her approach to her work, deeply reflecting on her impressions and the message she wants to convey to the viewer in her pieces. Sofia, on the other hand, is light-hearted and playful, treating creativity as a kind of game, an interesting pastime with sometimes unpredictable results. Maria is more result-oriented, while Sofia enjoys the process more. Nevertheless, despite their different approaches to the creative process, each of them is very demanding of the outcome, and this meticulousness is a sign of significant creative progress in the future. Of course, like all modern teenagers, our heroines have their own girlish interests: friends, meetings, relationships, music, and movies. They live an ordinary teenage life in very unusual conditions for children, showing extraordinary resilience and persistence in achieving their goal of becoming professional artists in the future’
